HIIT TRAINING

High Intensity Interval Training or HIIT is a calorie burning and endurance building powerhouse and so is our version of cardio kickboxing. So, we thought we would take two challenging styles of exercise and combine them into one epic routine that will challenge every muscle in your body; leave you with the feeling that you just made your body stronger in every way possible.

Today's world keeps getting tougher for teens. Here at Integrity Martial Arts, it is our goal to create a safe and encouraging learning environment, where they can learn self-defense, discipline and confidence without being ridiculed for their mistakes. This sense of identity will boost their confidence, resulting in increased assertiveness when dealing with the high-pressure situations.

ACTIVITIES

Teens need a place to become independent from their parents, while being challenged to work toward their maximum potential. Our frequenly-hosted activities are an excellent way for teens get involved with peers that share similar goals and standards. By expanding their network with positive influences, they'll be able to maintain accountability and increase their social-skills.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says only 1 in 5 adults meet physical activity guidelines set to improve wellbeing. Just as you’d think, physical activity has far reaching benefits. It can help control your weight, reduce risk of cardiovascular disease and type 2 diabetes, certain cancers, and more. The physical activity alone can help improve your mental health and mood, strengthen your bones and muscles, and improve your chances of living a longer, healthier life.

The issues of mental health are becoming more apparent and our understanding of them is growing as well. Many issues of mental health are helped by fitness alone, but the martial arts add a lot of benefits. Adults are goal-oriented and exploring that side of our human nature is important for our happiness. The motivation that can build up for many can power you through your fitness goals, as well as your life goals. A successful practice of martial arts requires a large amount of mental fortitude. In adulthood, it can be very tough for some to find peers with mutual interests and outlooks. Martial arts is a great place to meet new people, from all walks of life, and the shared dedication to their art can help bond people. Lifelong friends are made all the time at martial arts gyms; going through difficult trials – such as belt testing – can really help create social bonds between friends. Martial Arts will also help bond with your children, especially if you are participating as family, which we strongly encourage!
